This is supposed to be a learning blog, but it is so hard to always cite new things I'm learning when in reality I'm often reaquainting myself with tools I was shown a few years ago but didn't have the opportunity to explore. Tonight I was looking at YFrog and tag clouds (tagcloud.com and tagcrowd.com). I was also trying to find free podcasting and will explore several sites such as ClickCaster and Gabcast later this week.
Today was spent getting my Research & Study Skills summer course on Blackboard today in addition to planning for our summer day classes. Tomorrow I'll be at the office during the day, and doing testing and registration for the summer evening program at night. It's going to be a long day.
I still need to fix my "how to" video before I send it out to the teachers. My list of "to do's" is always growing and never shrinking. Do I hate stress or thrive on it?
I'm getting nervous again about that "tech" Academy class I'm supposed to be teaching in August. Will I know enough to fill up a 3 1/2 hour class by then? How will I structure it? How about a 20 minute break???!!! What will they be hoping for? What can I experiment with in my Research class that I can demonstrate in the "Academy?" I think it's time to start outlining what I want to do. But, I'll worry about that another day. Thanks, Scarlett!
